The thyroid is a radiation-sensitive organ of the human body and therefore in particular need of protection. Wearing appropriate protection during dose-intensive examinations should therefore always be a matter of course.
Our thyroid and sternum protector is characterised by its first-class cut and the best fit, taking into account all aspects of radiation protection.
With a permanently sewn-on hook & burr closure in the neck as standard, the thyroid and sternum protection is optionally also available with an exchangeable hook & burr closure or a practical magnetic closure*.
Leadfree Radiation Protection Material
Our new, lead-free X-ray protection material has a similar outstanding rating with regard to weight and radiation protection as the well-known NovaLite®. The Leadfree material is also optimized to meet the work-related physiological requirements of workplaces with long wearing times for protective clothing.
