The rules we must follow when we enter the fantastic field of orthodontics are explained.
When should we do extractions to make space for maloccluding teeth and when to do orthodontic movement?
The theory of orthodontic treatment is explained. The rules of optimal forces to be applied and how we can do that with passive or active devices will be taught.
Then we also have hands-on, applying devices on specimens and discussing pitfalls in the processes.

Kurset er lagt opp for en liten gruppe på maks 14 deltakere for å sikre tett veiledning og god tid til øvelser.
Kurset ledes av Jens Ruhnau, en av Europas mest erfarne forelesere innen veterinær odontologi, med lang klinisk og undervisningserfaring.

- Born in 1967 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
- Living in Copenhagen, Denmark.
- Graduated DVM from University of Copenhagen 1995.
- Since 1995 working in private small animal practice (Dogs, cats, rabbits and rodents).
- Specialized in veterinary dentistry since 1997.
- EBVS European Veterinary Specialist in Dentistry 2004.
- Danish Specialist in Veterinary Dentistry 2005.
- Opened a referral Veterinary Dental Specialist Clinic in Copenhagen 2007, now working as head of surgery there.
- Since 2000 cooperated with several Zoological gardens in the region, doing dentistry on numerous of exotic species.
- Teaching veterinary dentistry to veterinarians and technicians, lectures and practical courses all over the world.
- Many years of experience as board member of European Veterinary Dental Society (EVDS) and European Veterinary Dental College (EVDC).
