Modul 3 – Orthodontics

In this module we are defining the normal bite and occlusion and evaluating malocclusions; what needs treatment and when?

The rules we must follow when we enter the fantastic field of orthodontics are explained.

When should we do extractions to make space for maloccluding teeth and when to do orthodontic movement?

The theory of orthodontic treatment is explained. The rules of optimal forces to be applied and how we can do that with passive or active devices will be taught.

Then we also have hands-on, applying devices on specimens and discussing pitfalls in the processes.
