Modul 1 – Basic dental radiology, Dental restorations and Vital Pulp Therapy (VPT)

Learn about the different materials used in restorative dentistry and take the first steps in to the World of Endodontics by doing VPT’s.

The first day of this three-day course is dedicated to dental radiology. We will be working with the standard projections, practice on dogs (and cats?), and we will discuss the evaluation of our findings.

Day two and three, we will learn about the different materials used in restorative dentistry and take the first steps in to the World of Endodontics by doing VPT’s.

There will be a theoretical introduction to the materials explaining how and when to treat different findings.

Restorations are used in multiple settings to treat minor dental fractures, attrition, abrasion, caries and to finalize endodontic treatments.

Vital Pulp Therapy are widely used to preserve a living pulp in fresh complicated fractures and in cases of shortening mal-occluding lower canines.

We will be going through materials and equipment needed for the different procedures and we will try the application options to treat clinical challenges in the practical session of the course.
