Retinal video is a game changer. You will be able to record an examination and extract the best still images later. Dogs, cats and horses can be examined without dilation. You can angle the device to examine the areas of interest. The epiCam V uses an ultra low power illumination that can be adjusted to suit the reflectivity of the tapetum. The patented optical design gives a 45º field of view with reflex-free images. Used with a standard Windows laptop, epiCam® V is lightweight, portable and non-invasive. Dilation is not mandatory, although it makes it slightly easier to see to the very wide periphery.
