Quick Loupes
Combining quality with convenience, Quick Loupes are semi-customised loupes. Available in set working distances of 350 mm or 400 mm, you can choose the range in which your pupillary distance (PD) measurement falls. This will reduce both the cost and the wait time for your loupes to be built, and still provide the same great quality suitable PD for the ergonomic benefits of using loupes long term. All Quick Loupes come in platinum with 2.5X lenses as the recommended magnification for dentistry.

Why use loupes?
Loupes facilitate detailed visualisation for improved diagnoses of dental pathologies and increased productivity in their treatment. They ergonomically improve working conditions by correcting posture and reducing eye strain and its associated problems.
Various studies report 60–90% of dentists have back, neck and/or shoulder pain.1 In Ireland, people suffering from back pain take an average of 11 days off work and productivity is affected for 26 days. Good posture is a crucial work consideration to monitor, and dentistry is a high risk contributing factor. 2
Protection coatings
Univet HD loupes have a built-in filter that protects your eyes from powerful glares emanating surgical lamps, teeth and instruments. Three declination angles are available to best suit your chosen veterinary discipline: dentistry, ophthalmology or orthopaedics.
Field of view and depth of field
Univet Pro HD loupes are built with the highest optical quality. Every detail is carefully assessed and measured to provide perfect visual acuity and set the benchmark for high performance loupes. Univet HD loupes have a large field of view and depth of field to provide a sizeable working area that remains sharply focused, even when posture needs to be adjusted.
Their clarity refracts light accurately to your retina so no resolution is lost to the magnification. Building on from this, the Pro HD lenses are chromatically and spherically aberrated. This means the distortion that occurs from magnification is minimal around the edges; and the resulting colour seen when looking through the lens, is finely tuned and accurately mimics the naked eye.
Better posture
Magnification systems improve accuracy in dental and surgical procedures. Over time these systems provide ergonomic benefits because they prevent unnecessary stooping and hunching, prolonging performances in the working day as well as the whole career.
Weight distribution
Univet HD loupes have an integrated light-weight design. Every part of the loupe is designed and manufactured by Univet for a comfortable frame that evenly distributes the weight. Unlike other loupes where most of the weight is concentrated on the nose, the weight of Univet loupes is equally balanced across the nose, head and ears thanks to a comfortable frame that hugs your head and evenly distributes the weight. This makes them extremely light to wear without discomfort on the nose during long procedures.
